The White Shepherd Dog comes from Switzerland and is a variant of the German Shepherd. It is a gentle, cheerful breed. A White Shepherd is a real family dog. He is social and friendly and very affectionate. He also likes to work for his owner and is good with children. If they are well socialized, you can also safely put them together with other dogs or even cats. This intelligent, attentive watchman is an ideal family friend. He is temperamental and perceptive and at times a bit reserved around strangers. But these sheepdogs are never fearful or aggressive.

Appearance

In appearance, the White Shepherd Dog is very similar to the German Shepherd. This powerful, muscular, medium-sized dog has smooth lines and white fur. The white coat color of this variant was considered undesirable in Europe at the beginning of the 20th century. The height at the withers of this white guard is for males between 60 and 65 cm and for bitches between 55 and 60 cm. In terms of weight, an average male is between 30 and 40 kg and a female between 25 and 35 kg.

A White Sheepdog likes to get a job from its owner. He needs a lot of exercise, so preferably let him out three times a day. If he can walk and run around enough in a nearby park, you can possibly keep him in an apartment. But a large yard is still best for this sweet family dog. This dog’s puppies are easy to train. They are bright and obedient by nature. To limit a White Shepherd’s hair loss, brush it daily. On average, he is 12 to 13 years old.
