Miniature Pinscher

Character

This affectionate little family friend is alert and intelligent. He is suspicious of strangers and that makes him an excellent watchman. He likes to explore new environments because he is very curious. The sense of humor of these charming, energetic little dogs is infectious. These loyal, playful four-legged pets are therefore great fun company. They also do well around children and other pets when you socialize them properly.

Appearance

The Miniature Pinscher has a beautiful, shiny, short coat and an elegant physique. Its coat is chestnut, chocolate or rusty brown, black or a subtle shade of red. Furthermore, this purebred dog is characterized by its pointed ears and curious, dark eyes. Miniature Pinschers are between 25 and 30 cm in diameter and weigh between 3.5 and 5 kg.

Other particulars

Miniature Pinschers are very easy to house train. They don’t require much space, so an apartment or flat is sufficient for this dog. It is important that he moves regularly. Apart from 2 to 3 short walks a day, they require little maintenance. They shed on average and live to be 13 to 14 years old.
