Character

Although a Boston Terrier is a very lively dog, he is not busy. He is intelligent and not easily impressed. This makes him resigned but not nervous. This cheerful companion dog usually barks little but makes his voice heard when necessary. Boston Terriers are quite affectionate towards their owners and very obedient. They also have a remarkable adaptability. That is why this watchful breed is sometimes used as a therapy dog. Appearance

You can recognize the Boston Terrier by its characteristic bat ears and the white markings on its short, dark coat. This compact dog has a nice, massive head. His alert eyes and friendly look make him the darling of the family. On average, this terrier weighs around 7 kg. However, there are different weight classes.

A Boston Terrier requires relatively little maintenance for such a beautiful dog. To keep his coat clean, it is enough to brush him every few days to remove loose hair. He has no undercoat and his coat is not tangled. As a result, it can sometimes get cold in winter. In any case, it is good to avoid drafts with this breed, to avoid eye infections. And it doesn’t hurt to check and clean his ears regularly. Also be aware of extreme heat in this breed. If you take good care of this whopper, it can live up to 15 years.
